When I first moved to New York City from Easton, PA, in the late 70's, I lived in Greenwich Village and you could still feel the cool vibes from when Dylan & Co. ruled on MacDougal St. One night at the Kettle of Fish, a pub that not only Dylan but Kerouac before that had hung, I was able to play a song on a passed around guitar. It helped me establish a connection to my mentors. I am influenced by the Beat writers and their lifestyle as much as any musical influences. The new CD is 'The Cost' and will be released this July 27th 2008. I'm really excited about this album because not only is it my third full length record but one in which my vision has been more closely captured than ever before. There's a power here that will haunt you.
